XPO | wage increase in April 2012.

They will pay to wash THEIR uniform but we they're just not ready to give out raises. Makes a lot of sense. But.....we have and endless supply of star cards for your hard ass labor drivers. Im glad they doubled their 2nd quarter profits to 29 mill off our sweat. Im glad im making someone a decent livin. Yeah right

your damn right i did. They had the nerve to give me one today and ive been steaming pissed ever since. Its that all DSRs are worth? A stupid card? Yeah i sh*t on it. Just like they do us everyday. I guess some of the jackasses love to be sh*t on.

Thanks. That is totally what I think about their gratitude for going the extra mile. Give subservice the damn star cards, their the real conway heros. Go CRST!!!!!! Thanks for taking our runs!!!!! YEAH
i gave a crst a star card. i told him when he gets 10 of them to turn it into the scm for $100.00 gift card.

The best was yesterday here at XCO. They called 2 day flex guys in early. Told them they didn't have any P&D pedals or extra day lane runs, but then sent them to the dock to swing loaded pups to sub service vans. At about 1230 they called in the last 4 flex guys in to at least work the dock. Mind you our temp dock workers started at 1200 before our flex guys. One of the original 2 flex guys asked if he could just go home since they didn't need him. HR said he didn't see a problem as long as they didn't need him. He asked the dispatcher and the dispatcher said he didn't have anything for him. But the asst. terminal manager overheard him asking if he could go home. He got on his case about wanting to go home, said he sent him out to swing those pups. The DSR said he had done that and the next sub service wasn't going to arrive for at least another 45 minutes. The terminal manager had arrived by then and they sent him back to the dock to cleanup dunnage until the next sub service van arrived.

I remember BEERFD. I worked at one of the terminals that was closed. I stayed with the company and transfered to another terminal. I used to live 6 miles from work. Now I drive 60 one way. It sucks but I still have a job and I didnt have to start over somewhere else. And it was done at a ttime that the terminal was making record profits. When they closed it down alot of the customers stopped doing business with conway all together.

I think they "jumped the gun" when closing those Service Centers.

Way too late! What about the vacation weeks they stole from us, and the vacation weeks their yet to steal in 2013? What about the 401k we were supposed to get after we met their numbers? 3 consecutive quarters? Now we have to wait one more quarter to get it. Sounds like 4 quarters to me. What about all the unnecessary firings over their stupid 3 strikes and your out? What about the favoritism that goes on daily at this company?
I could go on all day like this. Until we get a contract with rules, it will never end. Were just a number to them.

now im not positive but my understanding is that in 2013 you will have to accrue vacation before taking it well heres the problem at my barn , we have 60 drivers and most of us have between 5-10 years ya know three to four weeks vacation well buy the time you have accrued two weeks your at the month of june and we only let 5 drivers off per day so we are going to have six months to have 60 guys use there vacation,i may be totally wrong in my understanding of the vacation.if so let me know but to have all these guys scrapping over the six months left in the year to use your vacation.....am i wrong or not nothing is ever in plain english
 
you will have to be out of the negative on pto time by the end of 2012. no more 2 weeks negative on pto bank. (even though your check is 2 weeks behind)

i know ive said this before but when i was a linehauler the way xco management treated drivers was absolutely absurd ,i never went to any reship that blatantly treated drivers like monkey ::shit:: like xco ,especially DAN whatever his last name was he was a sector 2 boss on nights,the only one who wasnt a dick was jeremy,god i hope they read this

This is true. No more going negative in 2012. Don't use everything this year, if you think your going to need it.
