Now it is OK to have a True Socialist organization supporting Sandy Pope and TDU? I don't know about you, but as a veteran I find it sickening.
After all the years of veterans defending this country from communism ,socialism and Marxism! Now we have them wanting to run OUR Union.
Unacceptable!

Whoa big fella! You have a choice of voting for sandy poke or voting for pure evil in pos jimmy. Out of the 2 I think the answer is clear!

On it's face, a "union" is a socialist-type of organization. Pay and benefits are not merit based, but doled put en masse, with the leadership really raking it in. That bring said:

I agree with her on 75-80% of what she said. A union is only as strong as its members, not its leadership.
The tea party comparison is one where she bad mouths it in one instance, than compares herself with in another. Overall, I like what she says.
 
Thanks for all your knowledgeable input. I won't vote for Hoffa nor Pope... Gegare and his slate are the only logical choice. There are aspects of our organization that socialist call socialistic but is also called collective bargaining. I am not a Socialist and never will be.
 
You realize that gegare is one of the trustees that voted in favor of taking away our pension with central states, right?

Explain to us, because we all are in the need of the know, just how, the Trustees "voted in favor of taking away our pension with central states, right?"

We will need to know what you know because we just don't know? Who, What, Where, When and Why?
 
Pope is the only choice that is what my 37 teamster years tell me.fred was one of the screw ups on central states.

Gegare voted against us when it came to our pensions, and he also was the architect of the Schneider Transport dismantling. Fred let Donnie Jr out of the pension payments and "forgave" the liability, allowing Schneider National to close out their Union operations and go completely non union. Fred is a big fat liar. I'll be voting for Sandy, as she is the ONLY logical choice.
 
can we vote for someone else?anybody else running besides the puppets we already know about?i know people that are just ordinary brother teamsters that could do better than the professional candidates that are offered

SERIOUSLY? Hell, I'll take the job for 15% less pay and I know I can do better then the current regime. Bigtruk, you're correct, there are some brother and sister Teamsters out there with a more diverse knowledge base then what we have. Vote for me to be your next President. NO more concessions, Wild Bill proved that they don't work without oversight. Time for a new direction.
 
i find it hard to vote for someone that tried to use our union money for political support and in the meantime our wages, pensions suck and force work rules of a non union worker
it would have been nice to see upper leadership make sacrifices as well ....

i dont see hoff@ making sacrifices.... just using the members union dues money that he wanted for political support
