Has anyone else noticed the huge improvements in service. For the past two weeks I have noticed very few late inbound bills. Most are on time, with some beating service dates by two days. Two days from Southern Cal, and Pa, along with next day on velosity points. Two day from Texas.
Big push by all managers on outbound, have strip and stacked by midnight, and bringing in the laid off to do it.

Not really....402 road drivers still sitting in hotels and getting paid on the clock to take sets of empties back home on a MAJOR lane of freight....but then again...the empties are getting back faster.....KK

Are these empties coming out of 705 & Florida? As I recall there's not alot of OB frt. from that area.
Valdosta, Jacksonville, & Orlando to the north (Atlanta, Jackson, & Charlotte) runs lots of mtys & Via's.

Yep. You're welcome. Once Southern Cal. gets them into the Holland region, they get passed off to us, then we hustle them across to PA. Then we give them back to ya'll for delivery.

JUST KIDDING! RELAX! I couldn't resist.

Seems like most of our thru freight (@211) is on time. The only place we have troble with the time crits are from 313 and 511 heading east.

Slow down! Theres a sign post up ahead, next stop, the Twilight Zone!!!

I doubt if anything has changed at my former dump. If shipments came in early they'd sit until the delivery date that the service point called for. A 4 day point arriving in 3 was a big no no to deliver. I'd try to sneak it on the trailer especially if I was already going there and if the stupidvisors caught it they'd make you backstrip the truck and take it off.
Ya can't fix stupid!
