FedEx Freight | Truck slip seating

heard on this bright sunshiny day that the slip seating that was assigned from Harrison was a 65% failure rate. If this is true, can hardly wait for the winter fiasco.

It's going to be a failure, compared to the way it used to be. 90% of the drivers are not going to take care, or care about a truck there going to lose after a re-bid or a bump bid. At any time, someone gets hurt, gets sick etc, plan on changing trucks, some drivers don't take care of there truck anyway, why would anyone care?

When the slip seat run allows for maybe 30 to 45 minutes between arrival of one and departure of the other but one of them has to chain up once or twice and is 2 or more hours late. In a center that had very few spares to begin with. That "winter fiasco".

And what is it leading too? No assigned trucks. ( Take Care of your people went out the window along time ago ) HRO couldn't handle it last bid what makes them think more work will make them any smoother!! I Grip and Grip about Road dispatch ( TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE ) all the time, sometimes I get answers oter times just get told WERE HANDLING IT! I've said it before and I will say it again HOPE YOU ARE LISTENING or HAVE YOUR PEOPLE WATCHING THIS SITE, until you people in management start taking suggestions from the hourly and implementing some of them you will never get it. As I said before, You have to to be willing to take advice from the ones on the front lines that have been doing this for ever and until you do so we will never be succesful to the fullest extent. Just because you have education in the trucking business ( but no actual on the job experience ) Doesn't mean you get it. How many times you call dispatch and get told or yelled at like you just started driving. gotta go
