FedEx Freight | weather

California sucks, but we have great weather here. Its 72 degrees and clear right now. I turned in all my uniforms, company credit cards, keys, badge, and com checks, and received all my payroll checks, vacation pay and personal hours checks. I guess I'm officially separated from Fedex Freight now. TP

I am looking out my window and all I see is white. So you and your money and 70 degree can take a hike :)
 
When they called me they said wednesday morning all is back to normal. That is funny... I guess we are just gonna run around with empties to look good. Wednesday night at the best we will run.

Why? At least around here sets are the only thing that make it through, long boxes in the ditch all over the place, never a set of doubles, unless dude falls asleep.

This storm was something, record breaking for us in Tulsa, screwed the city up real bad, you guys east take care and stay in.
 
Dang what a switch...Feb. and we are pulling triples in the Northwest and have been for 2 weeks and you guys are snowed under... Glad it is you guys and not us for a change...... Be careful out there guys and gals

You guys deserve a break, you deal with this much more than we do, I couldn't imagine what you go through night to night, it will all melt at some point for us, we are expecting more snow monday or tues, Sysco can't shut down again like this, I talked to a 24+ year shuttle driver and he said its been 20 years since Sysco OK has shut down for anything, its really been a big deal for us!
 
I-70 is still closed west of STL to east side of KC, 15"-20" snow with high winds and 5' drifts-----pretty serious stuff there. hundreds of trucks jammed in the truck stops, even cleared out the outlet mall and the gm plant for travlers to get off the highway.
