Yellow | New culture at YRC

They are currently taking delivery on the new trucks in Kansas City. They are keeping them mostly between Kansas City, St. Louis, and Indy because of the new DEF(Diesel Exaust Fluid). Only certain shops have that fluid.

No, No,
They were two story Road Commodes! Oh! The joy of two rounds to Brooklyn with those quality, Well mantained powerhouses!!
And the Co cried because comp claims were high at Stroudsburg?
RIGHT!

You must be refering to the "pipe" trucks. Replaced those quality 8V72 Detroits with Series 60 engines. The door hinges were so wore out you could stick your hand in the truck without opening the door! LOL

I had one of those for awhile!

KK..money spent on tractors and equipment comes out of the earned income account which isn't taxable.you know the accounts that these corporations put their money in for safekeeping.non taxable.anything going to pensions and other non capital reinvestments are placed on back burner

Hope they get something figured out soon. Would like to see everybody at YRC doing better in the near future. I no longer work in freight. I went to Heavy construction as a Teamster. But I firmly believe that what bodes ill for freight bodes ill for the rest of us. Good luck Guys hope you all can tough it out and start to see some of the good life again real soon.:clapping:

Saw one of the new tractors @ 211 a couple of weeks ago, it had 7k miles on it. We were told to send the new tractors west.

Must be something other than that, all truck stops have it.Of course just because DEF is available up or down the street does NOT mean some bean counter did not issue a rule like you describe! Was told by Cincinnati 241 Mgt. they were keeping those new trucks out west to meet emission laws?

Yeah. West to 309. Once the shuttle gets hold of them, they will "disappear" never to be seen again.
