Hey everyone.

I need a honest opinion based on current employees of NEMF employess.


If none of the teamster represented LTL companies are hiring fulltime in OHIO. And the choice is fulltime dock, city p@D or linehaul. Would u recommended working at NEMF or a non-union company?

Any info appreciated

that would be your decision. if you like to work nites i say go for the linehaul job.
if you like days go for the city. city job you home everyday. linehaul i guess being
a new hire you would go to the extra board and probally be gone all week.

Well Mike S. The terminal manager at the CMS location, called and i have a interview with him. Monday for part time dock worker, that's all they have at this point. Anyone know starting wage or current top scale for this position. I am working part time dock at UPS Freight at the moment. The offer start time at NEMF is 5-5:30 am mon-fri or tues-sat morning not sure which yet. Works good for me working two part time jobs back to back. Once i get my foot in the door then i can decide for fulltime with NEMF. I wonder do they have fulltime dock at CMS? or fulltime drivers only?

Any information would be appreciated this weekend, if not i will find out tomorrow..

I am a p&d driver at cleveland we have no full time dock workers only part-time and they are limited to 32 hours max per week with no chance for full time employment on the dock. Drivers and a few office personel are the only full time employees.
