We have given people a few days off to cool off, but we very rarely ban people permanently

I think every Mod here at one time was just a flunky like me. And still enjoys some friendly banter with the "BOYS". But Fr8s Momma wears Combat boots....there I feel better......may not be anymore popular but its a small price. :17142:

There is a problem with the brake valves. Until it is determined whether or not there is a defective valve installed don't think you'll see too many on the road.
And if anyone takes the time to listen to the last investor call, Jeff Rogers or James Welch stated that YRCW will no longer offer guidance. So if that information is what you seek it may be posted on the YRCW web site or we may have to search the SEC web site.

The Volvo's where I now work (not a YRCW company) ..... there is a recall on the timing gear tensioner.... something to do with the time gears or something??? All I know is they are brand new trucks being recalled.... if they let go the whole engine is shot. I guess the timing gear is on the back of the motor and they have to drop the trany.... suppose to take a few days to fix.
 
The way the change was set up, more freight would have been diverted to the USF's side of the equation. The operating ratio is the resoning for this. This is just a delay, But I for 1, am glad to see the Union take some action. Just a thought?? At some point they will have to raise the moral, give the individuals some stability and Service the customers.

YRC is not in the business of morale, stability, or servicing the customer. This company is a joke. What do you think the customers are saying? A merge, coo, d4e, coo, r/s, d4e, r/s, coo, name change, cancel the coo. Does management even know what day it is? YRC is the laughing stock of the industry.

Bendix says as many as 60,000 faulty brake valves were installed on several makes including Volvo. The article was in Transport Topics.
