Got a speeding ticket yesterday, in my POV, in a state other than my own. Anyone know if I am required to report it to my SCM?

You have to report ANY ticket within I believe 24 hours of getting it. They will print out a form for you to fill out. Make sure you have the ticket with you because you need the citation number and stuff off of it. I think they may also need a copy if I remember right
It was 21 over. I discovered that getting a ticket in your POV, has no effect on your CSA points. Also, my state doesn't recognize tickets from other states, so if they do a random run on my license at work, it will not show up on my driving record. I realize that I made a stupid mistake, and I'm almost sick, just thinking about if it will cost me my job.
Ok. I read on the CSA2010.gov site, that tickets or citations acquired in your POV do not effect your CSA score, so that's why I was wondering. Here is where I got my information.
Do tickets or warnings received by drivers while operating personal vehicles impact their motor carrier's Safety Measurement System (SMS) data or their Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) record? Back
A. No. Tickets or warnings that drivers receive while operating their personal vehicles are State citations and do not count in SMS or PSP. SMS and PSP use only violations of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), and those regulations apply only to people driving commercial motor vehicles. In measuring on-road safety performance, SMS and PSP use all safety-based violations documented at roadside inspections, as well as State-reported crashes.
Get an attorney from the state it was issued. He should be able to get it cleaned up for you. Esp. if you have a clean record. Deals are made all the time in our judicial system.

Appreciate it, Stack. $84 fine + $115 court cost. Taking donations as of now!:LMAO:
