XPO | Cascadias at other LTL companies

I have had a Cascadia for awhile now and it is in the shop for injectors and maybe a cracked piston, not sure. I did talk to the shop manager about all the problems we have had and was told it is the recommended additive that is causing all the problems. We at xkc have had up to 9 tractors at one time at Detroit. I have heard that other terminals have had more.

There's a few up in michigan. I think they were just test models. Their 08's I think

I dont know for sure if they are/were test models but you are right Gomer,XGR and XSG each have at least 1 that i know of as i have seen it in XTO many times..

You need help my friend. You're feet are talking to you!? Wow! Loony!!! Everyone knows feet don't talk, just the kneecaps talk! Duh! LOL

I think somebody is spending a little bit too much time in the truck..

HAHA!!! Yeah....contract is over, time to relax and take a nap in the morning, take my boots off and let the dogs breath..like another fellow said, I got the billy big rigger red map light and the floor light too!! Sometimes I turn on the pasenger red light and go trucking, makes me look cool, we ain't allowed to run CB's, but everyone knows I'm down with the sickness and no one but me knows that my dogs are bare and breathin fine!

Truth be known it probably saves Con~Way money to put the Radio's in as opposed to us using our own some Guys really have some over amped up stuff in there boxes and blow the electrical wiring in the truck in the long run less where and tear on the equipment that and if your not having 50 drivers loading and unloading boxe's into the truck every nite freight gets moving quicker !! a lot of wasted time is gone with radios in the truck now !!

I love my radio box! Custom built out of a single 12" subwoofer box. I have 2 Infinity Kappa 6x9's and 2 Infinity Kappa 5 1/4's, its more than enough sound for the small cab! Ive never had any issues with amp problems and my box has been in and out of more trucks than i can count. Even if i get a refurb unit, im keeping my radio box. The sound quality is like being center stage at a rock concert, im not kidding! I'll probably go deaf in my right ear soon, haha

They're not paying that much for satellite radio, the only reason we have it is because of the monster discount they get because they're already paying for it in all Con-way Truckload trucks. That's around 2700 units by itself. Can you imagine how much of a discount they're getting? I'm glad they put it in tho...

The truck was prolly gonna make ya deaf anyway, you're just saving it the trouble! :D ROCK ON!!

Its adaptive icuicp, no radar assist such as Eaton Vorad, the only radar we are getting will be cameras, pointed at us, not the road, its a policy compliance thing...I never liked radar assist cruise, I like the control I have.

That radar assisted cruise scared the crap out of me the first time it took over! I was riding along, minding my own business when the person in front of me got over in the exit lane. The radar thought the car was still in front of me and almost locked totally down! I had to look back in the mirror to make sure I hadn't laid rubber behind me.

I've heard that from other drivers, some of my friends love it and some hate it, I will stick with what I have, or I won't use it at all.

I must say, our Cascadias are the only ones I've seen come off the frame when involved in an accident. If that was a freightliner issue, you wouldn't see so many on the road

That is the way they are design'd.Also,if you ever see one that is headon. If you notice the engine&tranny will go down instead of straight into the firewall. That is the safety factor's that are design'd into the truck's today for keeping the driver safe.Again, love your site.Enjoy the friendly people hear.I'm a OD'r&wish all the forum site's were like Conway&OD.

The radios' in the BRAND new ones really suck. And the 2010's have more power...But, like everything else, that's just my opinion.
