They usually let the steel-haulers go. Not much to catch the wind on a flatbed with a coil. Maybe too many covered wagons slipping through.

Double pups were ok. Triples and turnpike doubles (48') weren't allowed.

The radio stations said doubles and triples,they must not know how to interpret the warning. Hell,I didnt know that til you told me!
