Tm was telling me that they are in the planning stages to have handhelds in the Road tractors or something like them to track us........along with some other things like drop n hook trailer numbers etc etc...

Also in the trucking industry i'am haering they the feds are trying to mandate e.o.b.r.'s (Electronic on bourd recorders) Maybe this is Mr. Robs way of starting that process becuse what i hear on the trucker channel they might get it passed with also means electric logs for us all...................

Well, all I can say to them is, "Enjoy the view"... I wished they would put cameras in them, then I could make funny faces at Central Dispatch...
 
I'd make them all jealous and envious when I pull of an exit ramp and swing the door open and let her fly.

then on good morning america, and kelly will be drooling all over me. Then hollywood. then maserati's and yachts. Then beautiful women and drugs. speeding tickets, dui's. Then bankruptcy. Then crashing my plane into the ocean and it all starts from urinating out of my truck

I reckon. Just because I buy a big gun case don't mean I got a big gun right. It seems I have them fooled though

preciate it. although I am out of commission right now. I run my motor scooter all the way down yonder where the eagles fly and the otters play. I believe I got every heat related symptom including second degree burns.

Just another reason to give certain finger pointers a chance to clean house. You know they got move their buddies up the seniority list.
 
What I believe it's going to create is a lot of input for all the bean counters in this company. This new system in addition to getting rid of some deadwood, will give a lot of data. Trip times, routes mileage, duplication of routes, mty miles, weekend miles, duration of off time. Alll kinds of stuff that will be tweaked, eliminated, changed, and otherwise modified.

Depends who you are? Especially at our barn.
 
I am just glad that I have been trucking long enough, that when the final companies bow to big brother, I'll be ready to retire! It's been a great 19 years in trucking, I hope the next few at least go well, then the newbs can have it all, I'll go sell CB antennas (and other stuff......LOL) to truckers at the truck stops ;)
