FedEx Freight | How many drivers are going to quit working at CMH ?

Hell, some probably ain't gonna have much choice. Can't see it getting any better here. Fedex found a nice lil program thats working for them. I went to POS last night and I thought I was in a truck stop there were so many PT's there.
 
If they would let them follow the freight that I thought was policy it might of not hurt CMH so bad. But I guess policy went out the door for us. They will word it in such a way that that it will look like the runs was just eliminated not moved. But you move 200 bills a day to DAY and nobody goes with it. I for one would gladly go to DAY. Shame CMH is like motel california. You check in but dont check out.
 
Yes, DAY has added 2 YNG runs that we cancelled 3 on. One of those 3 hardly ever ran so its hard to believe that isn't our freight. DAY also had a net gain on runs and still they have the option to dovetail elsewhere. Unbelievable....

Only thing I can make of it is that we are hurting for drivers in CMH and they can't find any one stupid enough off the streets to fill them!
 
How are they getting away with this. Isn't policy you can follow the freight on a Ops change

We were told awhile ago that you can only follow the freight if the receiving center needs drivers. If they have enough drivers to cover the freight that they get from the losing centers then no one gets to transfer

Your guy must have read a different edition than outs did awhile back. During one of our COO with another yard that lost runs to us, displaced drivers could have followed the work and our guys would have been laid off even though our guys had more seniority. Had a real hard time wrapping my arms around that one.

How can you follow the Freight to the Rail Yard!!?

All right CMH looses 23 runs and sends 200 bills to DAY a day and we are letting drivers from other terminals transfer here to CMH. Kind a throws your logic out the door.WE SURE DONT NEED EXTRA DRIVERS AT THIS POINT.
 
Well I hear we are sending 7 tractors over to DAY for the extra freight to be hauled we sent them. Still cant figure how they got away not letting drivers dovetail over there from CMH.
