Give me a break!

:ranting2:The problem with watching the video is we are giving the guy doing the recording more views. Personally, I don't think the person deserves anymore publicity. It makes me mad that these people go around recording and judging us on a couple minutes of what we are doing on the road. If he was really concerned about safety he wouldn't be out in the left lane the entire time and THAT my friends is perfectly acceptable in his mind because he is in a four wheeler and combating the evil trucking companies. grrrr..... rant over :flame:

If they know more than we do, maybe they can put the laptop and cup of coffee down and bring their first aid assess out here and show us how it's supposed to be done

The videos are just another ploy to make money. I think whoever is doing this could care less about anything else.

It is a ploy to make money but the problem is they put our jobs in jeopardy as they do it. It also makes the general public look down on us more, well.... if that's possible.

The trucking companies are starting to play big bucks for these videos too...

I think that watchmytruck guy really started something here. Yesterday we had a meeting at my job where they told us a UPS Freight truck was videotaped speeding in a construction zone by a 4 wheeler.

what a bunch of crap. I dont condone the way some of these drivers drive but let safty take care of it. Dont post them on the web. there might be causes that we dont know about.

Maybe the self appointed safety cops that take these videos should concern themselves with the law that states that the left lane is to be used for overtaking and passing only. Slower traffic must stay to the right. If they are going to point out the law to me they had better follow it themselves.

you would be suprised how many of these are hired by the trucking company to record their own employee's.

Probably just for tax reasons because why waste money filming a bunch of highly skilled, hand picked, over paid professional drivers with an impeccable work history.

L
google that its a u tube video theyre watching us in pa

Look at the video closely, it's a truck filming our big E truck not a car. Look at the video when it goes under the lights, you will see the shadow of the filming big truck. Looks like he has cameras on both front fenders and one on the dash. Oh and did you notice that he was within atleast a 3 to 4 second following distance I believe he was tale gating.
