ConWay and FedEx did what they did because in the past that would have been the death blow to yrc. After all yrc has done it to many companies themselves.

But you keep making ABF out as the bad guy in this matter. The blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the yrc brain trust and the IBT. They knew yrc could not live up to the 2008 contract when they negotiated it.

We have cash does yrc? No so we don't worry about the stock price right now.
We are more geared at moving freight something we are good at. We learned a long time ago that we are truck drivers and if we do the best we can at it we will be OK.
After all because of ABF's ability to out perform in a market that they are very much an under dog in due to wages and benefits they still profit enough to PAY FOR YOUR RETIREMENT. So instead of spitting on them you should be thanking them for being responsible enough to live up to their agreed to contractual obligations. YOUR PAYING YOUR PENSION BROTHER ALWAYS!

A couple things, Muler. ABF was not successful at removing YRC from the face of the earth. They teamed up with Conway and FedEx and did their best but YRC covered up well. That does not make youzs the bad guys. That's what you're supposed to do. To the victors go the spoils. YRC got to the top by doing it.

That makes a lot of sense. Ya think that is why the IBT gave them a contract they could live with? If I'm not mistaken YRC has as much liquidity as ABF has that should keep them from liquidating and that does not make your owners (shareholders) happy because they want a good return on the investment ever year or they're out of here.

joe we are very happy at ABF we have money in the bank not a bank in our money. There is a difference. We did not team up with nobody. We are a lone wolf.

joe I hate to sound like a mod. But from now on post things that pertain to the thread. People know you are a pain. So post on the subject matter. And I will be expecting to see links. You and Docker will never be inviting each other to dinner but Docker has a great deal of knowledge and I would rather read what he has to say about ABF and how to maybe correct some things than to see him always having to correct you. I have received messages from ABF Teamsters requesting that you either post on the subject or have you removed from their forum. I think if you put away the attitude and get serious you can be a productive poster here. So I am going to wipe your slate clean and I will be expecting you to post your ideas in a respectful and productive manner. YOUR BROTHER ALWAYS!

Rules are for everybody to follow, I would be happy to do that..if I could only get past the rule violating remarks that certain individuals deem necessary to post that are also way off topic posting. Please remember, I only respond to that crap. I don't initiate it. But I often take the hit for it. I welcome the help of the mod to stop personal attacks and low class insults.

That might be your take but not everybody feels that way. So from now on just post links and join in you don't have to always be so over bearing. Just post what you think and then show proof and we will all have some productive discussions. Like this. Can you explain why yrc has jumped so high in debt from last year? That will shed some light on Bubbas question. Because ABF has really no debt. They have more debt now than ever.

Taking on debt is a defensive tactic..a poison pill so to speak so they don't get taken in a hostile takeover plus they can cry broke come the contract. Just an opinion based on fiction, I could be wrong so I cant supply a link. YRC market cap is only $44M. Maybe they're worried ABF will buy them and set the network on fire. The opinion did not come from an outside source so I'll take the credit for it. Getting back to personal attacks I take offense when an abf'er says "ignore that decrepit old man" and thinks nothing of going to the YRC often forecasting the death of YRC. I may not be as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I always was:coffee1: I was called a low-life for something I posted about the ABF-YRC litigation by the prostitution attorney of the entire site.

That the great ABF empire's stock is getting battered and facing a court decision that could harm ABF more then YRC has..is a reality and no reason to hurl insults. When the dust settles the good times for YRC and ABF teamsters could be over. The fallout could even go as high as the low life, decrepit old man. That's what worries me. But at least I enjoyed a couple good years of it. Youze many never see it unless you got your time already. First off you come here as a troll and talk crap on ABF and the ABF Teamsters that you yourself admitted that you don't like very much and you come to our home and do nothing but downgrade ABF and the ABF Teamsters...that's why!!! What I said was ABF is a formidable competitor. Excuse me but this is not your home. This is an open forum where all registered members are allowed to post. Think of it as the same as the YRC argument in court. That ABF is not a party to the NMFA thereby has no say. You just checked off the box agreeing to the TB rules to be a member. That does not make you a party to the rules. You have no say, you can't change or alter the rules. But you're the best at violating them. So, this is not your home. You own nothing. You too, the site punk is expected to abide by the rules. Could it be you're just looking to end the thread? I'ts another good thread you have degenerated with your cheap bs. You were the cause of closing Mulers 100,000 view thread and his 5000 view thread in the union non-union forum. I’m telling you that this is the ABF forum and you are a troll and you can spread your hate and contempt at ABF and the ABF Teamsters on another forum because you are nothing but a lying…hating…arrogant…crying…whining…trouble making piece of crap! And that is putting it mildly because I do feel sorry for you. Yes, as the lead attorney for ABF versus YRC and the IBT the question is..the ABF stock has tumbled from a high of $26.90 less then a year ago and is possibly heading into the abyss way below what it is now if the district court a-gain strikes ABF down. Are you alarmed at this dreadful fall from grace and what needs to be done to prop up the stock? Will all this matter in upcoming talks. Or is everything under control so you plan on a new yacht soon after the contract?:guinesssmilie:
