Wow, what a crazy weekend at 653. We were so behind that the company offered 6 and 7 punch overtime. Some guys were working 12+ hours at double time!
So after the knee jerk reaction of laying 20 guys off a couple of weeks ago, looks as if we needed them and 20 more, after all!
As a consolation 10 laid off guys were returned to full time status Sunday. DS

I forgot that is how yellow operates.
always good to have too much work. we have been calling back and now have more men than work. cc's abound. we are as lopsided now as supervision. seems nobody is minding the store, despite plenty of large salaries. as long as our metro and time criticals are out the door, none of the other goals matter.
