I was thinking the other day... If the Large Dual Purpose (Priority and Economy) hubs were to put on Teams (FXF or otherwise) to run on established freight lanes what would happen to the Relay Terminals? I mean, they are already swallowing the Linehaul operations close to them now.

What is coming? Maybe nothing Maybe something that has required 3 years of planning. Has anyone asked the Terminal mgr. what the Kronos "Change of Operations- Sept. means? Just wondering.

That was Watkins platform TEAMS remember they dismembered that. So why would they go back to it.

Because Pat R had a dream that included sleepers. Aside from the obvious fact that Conway has them so we must need them. Wonder if they'll be Fred's trucks or Johnny Gypo's.

not sure exactly but something is up, lanes that have always ran every day without fail at my barn are now being cut at least 2-3 days a week. questions about this get answered with july 4th slow down and election year..... doesnt make much since to me but oh well. we are in " peak season" and so many bids are being cut daily/nightly, I know if you think about it enough it will drive you nuts but in my position I have to think about it somewhat because I could possibly be without a job or have to transfer to B.F.E. to keep my job...

I wouldn't expect anything out of Fedex except the worse for any of its drivers. If they will cancel bid runs from LIT to WME that used to haul econo freight just to put it on rail cars to save a few pennies I wouldn't bank on it as being a good thing for the drivers but what do I know, all I ever do is work the dock it seems.

I remember those orginal mater freighter. Leaking juice out the bottom of the tubs, trying to climb the grapevine in 100 degree heat and spinning your wheels because of the juice, and the aroma was outstanding.

You guys give these people in Harrison to much credit. The last few I weeks I have notice priority freight going silly ways like economy. At SGF the other night I had 5 bills come out of a LIT trailer going to PBF. And then again the next night. I'm no genius but taking priority freight 500 miles instead of just 50 and handling it twice instead of once seems a little dumb. One of our drivers pulled an economy load from EKC to DSM, they reclosed it, KCY driver takes it home with him. 400+ miles instead of 30. If this mind set is going to take over company wide we are all in big trouble!!!!!!

Why are so many of the former Watkins/National guys obsessed with team operations??? If you want to run team, Schneider is always lookin' for someone to live in the truck!!!

I met and Indy driver in St. Louis one night and he brought me a KCY group trailer and a STL economy trailer. I called central to see if they wanted to split it off in STL before I left because the 8s were 8877. Nope, it has to go to the economy hub. Okie Dokie... off I went. The people in charge are drones and that's what Harrison wants. Don't think for yourself.

I just want to know how they would the senority on a team op if you go to a team it don't work out you get your spot back or go to the bottom. besides I would not want to run with a newbie right of of the so call driving developement ain't now way nohow I like living
