hated the fact that gordon is a liar and has no clue and that fat tommy kisses estes bum. oconnor is clueless too. gordo's wife shoulda been fired years ago.... the time will come tho!!! sooner than later!!! hahaahahahhahhahh
 
great employees at the terminal level- they deserve better management and technology- their hqs should be in Orlando
 
Actually it should be in Jacksonville.... How the hell do y'all move around in that tiny yard packed with hooked sets on the weekend?!? I wonder that every time I pass y'all going to our place...
 
Another question, what's with all the sleepers y'all are running now? Are they taking your motels from you making you sleep in the truck? Also, I've seen a lot of owner ops pulling your sets, what's up with that?

1. They have been in sleepers for a while.. Most extraboard guys prefer them..
2. They can sleep in the motels if they choose.. But if you go to a terminal with sickening bunkrooms, why not stay in your cabin... You can have privacy with your inflatable friend..
3. Owner ops have been here since 2000.....

10/4, I just didn't realize there were as many of them as there are, both owner ops and sleepers for company drivers. I would think it mandatory that if you had a sleeper and weren't at a yard wih a bunk room that you'd be required to use the sleeper, no motels. I've often wondered why freight companies don't make us use sleepers. I mean here at OD it's not like we give the tractor up when we go to the motel, so it's not an issue of keeping that truck rolling. So why pay the motel bill? Not that I'm complaining, I've done my share of sleeping in a truck.
 
alot of those expenses are tax write offs to these companies..You know that..corporations love to talk about gubment this, gubment that, they pay the least in corporate taxes and suck the most at the government trough in terms of hand outs.

This is true, but I thought the IRS outlawed write offs on hotels for trucking companies. I may be wrong...
 
I just love how looking at my paycheck a year a two or go 29% was taken out between taxes and all, now its 31.5% hell lets just make it 50/50, so tired of the guvmint.
 
Love the more laid back attitude. Estes is not near as pushy as Saia was.
Hate, no delay pay, hence very little concern about getting you out.

I would imagine somebody with a good driving record built like hulk Hogan could get hired at any food service outfit within a week. You'll have to take a number in the ltl world.
 
I'm to old to pump all them groceries. Even if you are a young guy, could you do the food stuff when you get older?
