FedEx Freight | teams?

Having also worked for Watkins way back on a team truck, it was for the money. Also never got food poisoning or athletes foot in a truckstop. It's great for people who can get along and you do get more rest than this crap they're doing now. Also didn't have to deal with management that much especially on the cross country runs.

ST thinks one of the big differences back then was you could split your sleep in a sleeper...now it's 10 off....

Or so ST tells his typist....
 
When I hired in to National, I was lucky enough to not have to be teamed with someone. The driver that was hired after me got paired with another, more senior driver and was running to California each week. He said the money was great, but he did not like the person he was stuck with.
 
what happens if go team and they stop teams will you back to the same spot that you were? and can you pick the driver you can team with ?or will they force teams I know I will not run with someone that has only run the line and has no otr expericence.

They got their butt in a big sling back in 92 or 93 and asked for volunteer teams. Made one turn to Chicago in TP78XX. Was like trying to sleep in a blender. Spent just about as much time suspended in the air over the mattress
as on the mattress. Some of the guys that made several trips would just stop for four hours a day so both could get some sleep. Pretty interesting experiences in Spartan South territory. They would pull in for fuel and the Spartan people would lock the pumps and tell them "This here's Spartan fuel and it's not going in your Viking truck."

Making a joke about Jerry's kids is not funny. They have no control over their lot in life. We on the other hand do have control.

IF there are it answers questions that exist about runs being cancelled because if they can find ways to run the freight cheaper and faster without empty miles theyre gonna do it. also if the team thing is really gonna happen then one has to ask themself where that puts them as far as systemwide cuts and transfers.. let us know if you have any info thanks

I reported seeing an older watkins sleeper with the candy stripes removed and FREIGHT insted of NATIONAL on it but other than that I don't know anything about it
 
There is no purpose in embarrassing someone for their inability to get their thoughts out. However, RC would have no problem lambasting those that do target those that can't get their words and sentences out as well as others.
