We were told this devise will scan the bill, send it straight to the billing center, and when you return to the terminal, a "skelton" bill will be created, and the dock will be able to break the trailer without delay.

That's what they told us the nextel phones would do.and all that did was create triple the paperwork for the office from the old way of billing right at the terminal.

We were also told that 5%?wage cut was all they needed to survive and you seen how well that went. This company has zero credibility in house and on the street. It will never change, from all they have blindsided.

:duh:What about New Penn? Do they already have them or just being left out.

Im glad these units will be hand held that way when we are on the side of the road waiting for a wrecker with another piece of junk to replace the one that just broke down it will be more efficient to have them mobile!!!!! We have equipment that will not pass a DOT level 1 inspection all over the place and most of our trators have over 1 million miles on them and we are spending money on THIS! Our trailers are junk and so are our fork lifts. Our Terminal is in shambles. You have got to be KIDDING ME!! Priorities? WTF!!!
