FedEx Freight | Union Vote

Will we get the same contract as yrc. So we can kick back 15percent of our gross. And make 56 cents a mile. Sign me up. And don't forget 80 bucks a month dues

Wow so far from true. The YRCW members voted to give back so their company could have operating money.
Actually the teamsters at YRCW is kinda inspiring to me and should be to everyone.
The teamsters have gotten a bad reputation for being selfish and self centered, then comes along these YRCW folks and blow holes all threw that theory.
YRCW members showed that the members still give a damn. Good for them.
Those dues you hate are tax deductible BTW.

I'm all about trashing the IBT at the national level but the points you are " making fun of " make me want to be a teamster.
Gotta be original not what your SCM tells ya to post.

Having been in the teamsters for 31 years their give back is just like the ESOP of yester year employee stock option where you are part owner. It did not work then and it won't work now ghe union dropped the ball many years ago when all the major carriers were folding they should have redesigned the pension plan Andalusia it fair to all employers did they think the outfit with 40 men wa going to pay for everyone. With the latest acceptance of the ups pension buy out things are changing for everyone . Yrc is not going anywhere I know guys that work there and they can't believe the money we make and the things we get away with

I can tell you that yrc doesn't pay 80 bucks in dues....But ups parcel does
Dues are based on 2-1/2x's your wage.

Your half right ST. My main squeeze has me on a Miller Lite diet for my Grilyman figure. I did have my rocking chair serviced. I love being retired. Its time for my afternoon nap. TP

Andyboy where do you get the 80dollar a month dues?I only pay roughly 50 a month...50dollars is worth it to me.Thank you to the guy or guys that said some good things about us Yrc freight teamsters. Its been rough and tough. But we still have a job.God Bless

I will always respect and have a found spot in my heart for USF/YRCW. I spent 5 good years as a (pro-union) USF Dugan Linehaul driver out of KCY.
What you drivers at YRCW did should be an example to all drivers. Especially the back stabbing all about me guys.
Nice to see for once
