XPO | Cascadia CB noise

One of the shop big wigs came by DesPlaines a few months ago n asked if I'd try a antenna. It was a Francis. It worked great. From the way he talked I think their gunna switch but who knows how long that'll take. If I were u I'd just put up a Francis on the left side. If u get a black one nobody would even notice.

Some trucks have a coax problem, they become disconnected inside the mount.I ran my own coax to a mount on the bar on the back of the cab.Works great.

I was considering this too, but didn't know if anyone had done so and gotten any flack from the bosses.

@gomer67; which Francis did they use?

@nncnwydude; Conway doesn't permit us to us cell phones while driving.... right?

Thanks to all for your advise, and as for @Dodge Ram. NO MORE DRINKS FOR THIS ONE!!

I've been doing this for 2 years without any problems. Even send it to the shop for PM with it still on there.

1. hold c/b radio firmly in left hand.....

2. roll down driver side window, speed should be right at full governed rate.

3. pitch said radio out that window, firmly, being carefull to avoid any following vehicles (unless they are competition or black and white)

4. roll window back to its full upright position

5. all radio noise will now be a thing of the past.....

I don't know where you guys drive or how long you've been doing so, but around here, a CB is another set of eyes. It enables me to see miles ahead; helping to keep me outta trouble and greatly reduces my time spent parked on the highway.

The only requirement to cell phones is that you have to have a hands-free device. Per my TM.
