Estes | FEMA anyone?

Who is jumping on the FEMA wagon? I've heard you guys have been offered the work.

Yeah, we got the account. They take all utility guys at our barn. They recently asked for 5 more city guys. Every terminal does it different... Since I'm a road driver now, I can't do it anymore. I'm an important schedule driver. Lol

An Estes team friend of mine said they were offered this, 600.00 each per day plus 40.00 each for a 21 day commitment.

Yeah, that's right on the money. 26.67 per hour every hour your gone. $600 taxed and $40 per day untaxed. It's the $59 per diem with the percentage taken out of it. Your there until the release you. Believe it or not, we had several that volunteered to go home early and one that just went home because they mentioned he may have to go to New York. (after only 3 days) I guess the $4,480 check want enough.

Hell, that's what we got paid back during Katrina in '05...WTH....Barry is President and driving us into the ground, why not allow the truck driver to help? LMAO...

they actually recruited teams this time, 2 from my terminal and linehaul guys with schedules, i plan on sweeping the floors and locking the gate
