XPO | Lift gate problems

Well its out of service so we are not allowed to send it to shop to fix so they write it up daily but being the only lift gate in a dead end terminal really leaves you limited on resources

It's the company's fault? Most often it's the guy pulling the trailer that won't write it up and follow up with the supervisor to make sure it's entered into the computer. Once again back to the old definition of insanity... doing something the same but expecting a different outcome. So after the first guy hurts a shoulder why wasn't it addressed at the local level? The grease gun does not have to be ordered from Ann Arbor, they do have them locally available.

So we are supposed to check to make sure the stupervisors are doing their jobs? Sounds about right!

Pretty soon con-job will have us out there working on these things off the clock ... Its for the good of the company dont ya know !

If you find the lift gate trailer or any equipment broken or unsafe during your pre-trip, you should inform the stupidvisor and refuse to use the equipment until it is repaired.
