have any of you heard about some terminals having to pay cash only for fuel deliveries? i know my terminal has. how about yours? we cant even get parts for trucks, propane for forklifts, or anything else without paying with cash.

This is nothing new. Turnover and ultimately getting put on cash is what happens when you don't pay your bills till 120 days+. Ask your manager about the revolving door of vendors for repairs,propane,fuel, security etc. Don't think a single terminal has security anymore, they did away with that about 4 years ago.
 
I know in Tol we run out of fuel all the time and have to go to the Pilot, but don't know for sure that it's cash only sale. I'm waiting for the night I try to go through the cash box (EzPass) on the turnpike and the gate doesn't open.

You run out because of the number of linehaul drivers coming through, Indy's the same way. Pumps are too slow at the home term/or none at all. Your fuel card is still good at the Pilot/Flying J--just fueled Thursday night. As far as the cash box, just back up or turn around if you can--most toll pads are big enough. If you take the ticket from state police and it is "lost" or not paid your drivers license is suspended since your information appears on it.
 
everyone should top off their tanks daily to drain the main fuel tank. that way they will have to have it refueled sooner. lol.
