I was talking with with a driver from another terminal when he asked how long I've been with OD when I replied eight years he asked if I was looking forward to getting three weeks vacation this year,I was under the impression that it took ten years to reach three weeks vacation as spelled out in our employee manual,when I asked my T/M if this was correct he said the vacation policies had been changed several years ago,all good news but its left me wondering if OD's ever going to update the manuals,the newest ones we have seem to have been written in the mid-nineties with outdated info including terminals that no longer exist and policies for situations that no longer exist.Since drivers are required have these manuals with them while on duty it seems like it would be a good idea to have recent information in them.
