Whats the 3rd eye Mildew? Are ya'll getting the drive cams like we have at Sysco? Hell, I can't get away with anything anymore!

It's just ordinary folks paid by trucking companies to video tape truck drivers out on the highway. I'm told those new online elogs have an eyeball in them. Who knows? I imagine all trucks will have cameras in them soon.

I think its coming, I'm seeing them more and more, I saw a Waste Mgmt roll off with one a few weeks ago, all the Food companies around here have them.

I love the e-logs, one less piece of paperwork, I don't agree with folks following trucks to tape them, thats dangerous. I can't believe Big E mgmt. would stoop to that level, there are better ways to enforce policy, sounds like they don't want to get their hands dirty. I'm told that drive cam cost a million a year to administer, its a valuable tool in an accident, for us its become a policy enforcement tool first, accident tell all second.

Those elogs sure would make life easier. When someone steals my truck I need to find another then fill out another comic book for the past 6 days. I hate paperwork.

I just hope the Elogs will allow a 16 hour rule day. I know a few drivers who don't know how the 16 hour rule works.

Ours do, we run XATA, and they have a long memory, if you use it on Monday, it will tell you pretty quick that your running close on Thursday and can't use it again, on Friday, I can look at how many hours I have left to work, its pretty smart.

I can see our extraboarders sniping the wires then putting a quick disconnect on it the first time they get stuck out over the weekend because of an extended stay on the queen city bench.

Mr 13 hour god will be the first one tampering with it. Saying "It's the truck, its the truck"

One does what one must to get the job done

If there's any loopholes, you can bet it will be on the net somewhere. I doubt a trucker would ever figure it out and Eugene from Harvard ain't driving a truck. I reckon we might be S O L. Then again, it was a trucker that invented Lucas oil. I quit using it when I found that out.lol

I sometimes wonder if we are over reacting to some of these things. I'm not worried about a third eye, though I do wish for a dash-cam. I've considered investing the money into getting one just ***** and giggles. My non-truck driving friends would learn a thing or two, plus get a kick out of some of the stupid things that people do in front us truckers...especially on Fridays.

This is going to be a big pain for those milkers, knuckle draggers. Also going to be a pain for city dispatch.

Yep! I was fixin to give a class on how to score a perfect 100% or higher with the hand held and still get a 2 hour lunch but these peoplenets with the GPS showing your whereabouts just shot that class in the rectum.
