Anyone ever dump 35lbs of that crap in your trailer? I did, what a nightmare! Like working on ice and tracking the crap everywhere, customer finally gave me 3 large sheets of cardboard to lay down, that helped alot, its to cold here, I still have it on my wheeler a day later, had to throw my gloves away, its still on my floor mats in the truck, lucky for me I got it off my boots after I walked around the house for a while..LOL!!

been there done that not fun.. no matter how much you try to clean it up and keep it off you... it wont happen... lol

I was in the trailer the day after, I wrote it up and was told that they weren't allowed to buy detergent anymore, so they squirted it out the best they could, meanwhile I about killed myself all day. Last week the loader was so bad there was a 35 lb refused because it was crushed, not leaking though. I also lost three 50 lb bags of sugar (stacked on top of fry oil that was falling over because not enough shrink wrap, and a 4 1 gallon hot sauce. Like at my second stop the glass louisina bottles all over. thankfully I had part of a broom and a blanket, the spill kits they bought us, well it weren't in this truck. Frank's is better, because first, it's not glass, and second, having had to smell franks all day one time, I had to stop on the way home and get myself a bottle (of hot sauce).

Man I didn't have a bag of corn meal anywhere on the trailer, thats always been my fix, that stuff is like kitty litter or oil dry got that mess. My customers were pissed, it was all over everything, tomorrow, 8 stops, around 800 cases, got a floater on thurs, I cain't ******* wait for tomorrow to be over!!!!!!

I usually hit the first auto parts store and buy two bags of floor dry. Does the trick. About a month ago I had to make that trip three times in a week. Pissed off was not the word.

I don't turn in the receipts. I know shame on me. It only cost me $6 for a 40# bag. I haven't turned in a boot receipt on a long time I usually goto that van they have and use the deductible they give us.

I got 'em out of the van, they lasted four months maybe, got them replaced, the replacements also lasted three or four months.

Oh yeah, something about fry oil, it's slippery, don't want to be off topic here.

Fry oil will make ones trailer slippery but a busted one gallon jug of imitation smuggler's rum will make ones trailer smell like a brewery ;)

oh my goodness.

a liquor distributor dropped a case of something on the dock Wednesday, broke 5 bottles. The whole place reeked, man I could never do that job. (and stay sober)

wait, you walked around the house in your boots with oil on 'em?

Well, technically all the oil would have been worn off by the time I got home, between the grass, concrete, the carpet in my VW, ect.

I used to pick up the meat for a food service company, they made their own hamburger and beef cuts. It was hanging beef , not boxed like today. The fat used to get in the floor grooves , and if you didnt broom it out with scalding hot water when empty, if it sat overnite it stank. Used to bet a big box of cinnamon and sprinkle it on the floor in the morning, otherwise at the meat terminal the inspectors would throw you out if they smelt the stink.
