It's an agreement between two carriers in order to help move equipment in unbalanced lanes. I'm sure there are some ABF trailers out there being pulled another carrier. Seen a central transport trailer at the dock a couple of months ago.

This has been discussed many times before. All freightlines move others trailers.It happens regularly especially with new trailers. ABF pulls many new trailers for other lines & others pull ABF. This saves a delivery charge & helps align a trailer pool with changing needs.

I hear that ABF wants to subcontract all of our road work to YRC, they say it will yield a 20% savings.

I see YRC & Central equipment at out dock all of the time. Nothing unusual, but anytime ABF gets involved with YRC it makes me nervous.
