The real question is do they care ?

when a guy with two or more weeks of vacation time coming to him and tipped out leaves it is saving them money when they hire a newbie to replace him with.

When a drivewr leaves and starts out at anthor job with a 401k and is makeing the same amount of money too start with he is saving himself money. Not too mention he will recieve raises own his new job. NOT RERAISES

Isn't there an old saying, "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence"......until you get there?

Yea, I guess the grass could be greener, new truck, as many miles as you can run, no pressure and equal pay and 401 match. Great outlook until you hit that patch of black ice or the boss doesn't like that honest answer and your fired. There's one aspect of Holland or any union co. You will wish you had is Representation. You have to really screw up to loss your job here.

Why would they? Holland is run in Holland Michigan. As long as they show a profit Kansas City won't care how they do it.

Very true Griz. But sadly I don't think management at YRCW cares one way or the other about drivers quitting. IMO when training cost and lowered productivity are factored in replacing drivers is not ALL that great of a savings.

I work out of Charlotte only drivers leaving are the ones that are retiring!!! You would have to be crazy to leave this company!!
