I saw this driver last week that was so fat and out of shape, that I actually felt sorry for him. IDK who he was driving for. Could've been an O/O for all I know. And he smelled like about 5 or 6 days with no shower:chairshot:. He was wearing the classic sweat pant-one-size fits all. I'm sure that this is probably the only thing that still fits him.

So, I guess we still have drivers that just sit and drive and never get out of that truck..I know that some people are prone to be fat, but there is always something you can do to not be that horrible and miserable looking. Go walking a couple times a week, late off the grease..something. I'll bet this guy hasn't had any kind of cardio excercise in atleast 2 or three years. I wanted to ask him if he felt like going for a walk..walk around the block or something, hell I'll go with you. We were at a sort and seg. facility and there was no way he was going to even touch any of that freight..even if he did get paid.

And how do you pass a DOT physical?

well in his defense he is a stuck in a truck most of his time when he has time to get out from behind that wheel hes tired don't feel like no dang walk and well food that's not so easy either as healthy food is not cheap food its very expensive and truckers don't exactly make caviar wages and if he is a OTR driver well that's even worse as 99% of the truck stops do not serve anything healthy . Be Honest you Bounce around in a truck all day 12 hrs or more do you want to go to a gym work out lift weights and walk or jog ??? I agree you need to but its not always that easy ! we do not exactly have a 40 hr week job most truckers work 50 to 70 plus !! yes the hrs you work that you don't count got to love those !! some of our line-haul drivers in my barn will show up 2 hours before they are going to get to leave waiting on there loads to get ready wonderful !!

I like those guys who take that long pause, then rock a little for momentum, to get up to that second step on the tractor. I call it the bubba bounce.
