Yellow | 135 Garage pulling red tags.

Look at you trailers good. 135 garage pulling red tags on trailers. Reason it takes toolong to properly check a long box. Day light only can do pups. And force the long box's out into the system so that they do not have to do them. Supervisor pulled tags and then put the long box' back into service with out a safety check. The long box's sat in the lot for a week and did not get touched. The trailer shop was given those trailers and did all their work. So why is the Trailer shop closing. Good work not being rewarded. Clasic YRC. Classy company. NOw the garage wants to move the trailers themselves. How are we going to be safe on the road when their idea of getting trailers through the shop is pull the right up of and put it back as being fixed.
 
Nothing new here. YRC approves of this and stand behind their shop managers
Shop manager 881 forges mechanic signatures on OD 199's that problems were fixed.
This is after Mr. Rogers told stewards here he would fire anyone for forgery.
Got all the evidence and took it to hearings. Mike is still here and still doing it.
Local has no comment.
Call the DOT and sign a complaint it may be your family next to this junk.
 
I work for G68 and this does happen but it is done after we leave or before we get in .But it is hard to put a stop to it when there OTS stewart works with the garage manager and lets this happen. We tried to keep our work so it was done right and not half assed. But what can you do when there OTS stewart lets it slide.They are closeing our shop now The garage manager refused to hire in our shop and we do not have enough people anymore we have fought and fought to hire and to keep our work so it could be done correctly but we were told monday, to bad . Know matter how much you try to do the right thing for this company management always want to do the opposite.

They have at least 1 mechanic that is nothing more than a tail light changer at best & dont even want to do that! Stood there arguing with me until i said no problem bubba,let me have a supervisor sign off i was here & i will pull right outside gate & call a vendor.good times...
 
Remember safety is always first at YRC. That is of course if it doesn't cost any moneyIf it does then its out the window. The only solution is make them pay a vendor or better yet let them get written up some more by CASA. I think that's the initials of the new communist government run organization.

One of our old 48' trailer collapsed at Holland in MKE. fell flat on it's nose. 4 injured. Was just safety checked and PM'd. All our old crap 48's lined up against the fence
 
The DRIVER also gets CSA points aginst HIS/ HERS CDL !!! If the driver should need to seek other employment and have point's he/ she may not get the job. I have watched non- union drivers be let go for CSA points.
If it is not right it should not roll ...........

Man times are tuff, I'll never forget a sign i read many years ago. "Safety doesn't cost a thing until you forget it". Just thought i needed to share that with everybody. Bless you Cab Lizzard, If its not right it shouldn't roll. Let's do that!
 
If you have proof you can file a complaint with OSHA. Just go to their website and follow the promps. I started doing this when I got a letter for noy having sick days.
