Yellow | Yrc Warn Act Notice Cincinnati

Is it just me or did anyone else notice the numbers filed in the warning were not what they listed in the COO

At first glance it looks like that WARN notice includes non-union personnel as well.
 
i had noticed the non union personnel on the WARN but here are the numbers that confuse me as most should be union....the COO says 142 road drivers are being lost but the WARN shows 185, same with the dock, p&d and shuttle, it shows under cartage as 103 but the warn shows 25 dck wrkr/switcher, 126 dock worker and 48 p&d drivers that is a 96 person difference, is there that many cartage non union at 241?
 
The WARN act law applies to all American workers.its not a union/non union issue. I collected it when CF shut down.
 
Appears the WARN posting includes ALL employees at the combined site. I thought 241 was the DC only, so why would the DC have any P&D drivers? They are all at 216, right?
Looks like the listing is the total max of all employees, even though the city operation will continue. Guessing they notify the worst-case-scenario, then say oh, it was really only 400, not 500+

I agree. This is a CYA posting. No penalty if less lose their jobs than was proposed.

I just looked at the size of that terminal on Google Maps - that is a BIG terminal to close like that. Where the heck is all the traffic going???

Toledo, Oh was a big terminal too. Yellow moved the freight to their own dock's and I bet they changed the freight lanes to cover the change.
 
Yrc is shuttin down 27 terminals including one here in lawrencevill,ga
but their putting back on 7 executives,, 15%, pay cut...... Cut retirement,american jobs,
**** these sons of bitches,may they rot in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Brothers and Sister i feel for you all I've had them shoes on before and i sure can't tell anyone of you the right answer to transfer and dovetail in some place or take a layoff only you can do that.But someone posted on here there $20 dollar hr jobs if look hard i don't know where he live but there very hard to find here in my town and if every belong to union you can add 100 times to it so before you chose one way or the other look around is there anything better i know after we lost out the non unions lines didn't want us hell some of the union lines didn't want us abf was the leader of the union lines of not wanting us i know your **** and hate the place but just think before you do anything because you'll fine out there not knocking doors down to hire Teamsters.
 
Sadly you're right excfman. But you left out another strike against us. Too much grey hair!

My location has/had 4 former CFers. Three Teamsters and one pencil pusher and we only have 11 or 12 Teamsters here.
 
That great ABFer I'm glad they put them on and i didn't mean to judge all abf terminals and please don't take it that way that the way it was in our local Holland & Roadway was the leader with five each Yellow they had two and abf none they didn't want work us extra.Sorry for being off subject.
