All CWF Freight facilities are to commence 100% paperless dock rollout..:regretful:. This should be interesting to say the least. Cant even get guys to scan their freight, but now no paperwork to go along with it..I mean who comes up with this stuff?

That's the way it should be. We don't need all that paper. I throw it out (except hazmat of course)anyways. The only problem is when the handhelds go down. That's going to be fun.
 
I only used paper bills for export and hazmat, so I think its a great to go paperless. However, its all fun and games until the computers go down.

I have a couple extra white unions cards left over you can have, this whole stack is about gone but ill loan the last two. Well you'll just have to settle for one because im saving the last card for beerfd .

Perhaps the "white cards" need to re-surface again. Got a feeling that after getting the shaft on the raise,mainly the rate of the overtime to match or closer to central's rate, should i say the lack of, more people will come aboard.........

Convict, I did fill one of those cards out.. I thought it was a star card for rollin62.. :|
 
I’ve been paperless for months. First thing I do is take all the papers out of the packet and then find a skid of freight I can slide the papers down and carry on as usual. Life is as simple as you want to make it.

Hopefully they will print dock copies of the bills to go with themanifest when the trailer is shut down? Just guessing here... Still gonna be a pain in the ass, I get off the lift enough every night as it is. Oh wait they're gonna have us dimension checking EVERYTHING from now on, so you'll already be off the lift so scanning should be a breeze. Good lord.
 
We've been paperless for awhile. It's a lot better. No more leafing through 30 bills. I don't even get off my jeep. You can see the pro from the jeep and just match it up with the manifest on the handheld. A lot faster this way. You are only required to have proper bills of lading for haz-mat shipments. We also carry bills for Canadian shipments and any bill that the customer has attached a packing list to. Change is sometimes good.

well according to the FOS's at the gateway to hell i run to ***** about COSO's going with the freight. And that was dock SOP. And we cross a port of entry to communist CA that checks bills for seeds and household goods.

i guess that explains why the long wagons from XLA/XMP/XKC usually have 10 bills at most out of a 30-40 bill packet..
