The reason why you don't see a (YRC) or (YRCW) logo is because the letter originated from Local 371 which is displaying the (Teamsters) logo making reference to YRC- YRCW.

they **** away 6 billion by making so called bad infestments and say where broke, not enough funds coming in to much going out looks like they should have held on to the 6 billion why isn't someones head on a platter at central states

Yep, what I was going to point out. The Union didn't screw you-- they recommended voting yes because with the Debt, there was no other way out. Debt is a killer, and Government is causing a Government -caused Recession to become a Government-Caused Depression. Until they relax Regulations and Taxes, the economy will keep nose-diving; until the economy comes back, the Debt can't be paid. Until the Debt is paid, the Pension is screwed-- and that means US!

We the people screwed ourselves. The trucking industry was just fine until deregulation came along.

You mean when it artificially could not fail, but the public (you and me) paid higher than necessary prices????? Nope. YRCW screwed this up all by themselves. You're simply looking for excuses now....

That Sucks!I wonder if all of the Locals around the country that are in different pension funds but has YRC workers will follow suit?

COLKID I agree with you,I can not think of anything that went down in price that was attribited to deregulation, all it did was give big shippers a big hammer to beat up on truckers, company drivers and owner ops,and as for blaming all the current economic problems on the current administration to me that is closing your eyes to all the problems the previous group left behind.

You are looking for prices that went down; actually it set up places like the Dollar Gens, WalMart,etc....It would be better to debate in another forum whether or not those were good for society or not (and putting Mom and Pop stores out of business, etc)...BUT-- they DID hold down prices as others rose. Made possible by deregulating, cutting shipping rates, etc. Like it or not, it helped American Middle and Lower Class People to live better quality lives thru lower prices, getting things they otherwise would not be able to afford.

I know this would be imposible for us to figure, but by how much? Pennies per item or dollars per TV?

Well if you want things that break the first time you use it then ok. How many tools you got from those stores? Better yet how many busted knuckles or wasted trips to a higher quality store to replace the cheap one you just bought?
