My thoughts being an employee here for the last 24 years... I wanna see HOLLAND spit in the face of YRC , Mesters, Teamsters, and the Pension fund not to mention the CEO's of all of the above! They will Survive! So , Screw All the nay sayer pricks! They have done everything they could muster to put us down, but we will have the last laugh!

Hope 1000 new trucks coming with those new employees.
That's part of the agreement if you sign on with Holland.......You have to provide your own truck. Or better yet......the new employees have to bring a new truck into the mix, but they DON'T get to drive it. Seniority prevails.:biglaugh:

The article said that many of the employees currently at Holland have been there for between 5 and 20 years.{said YRC} I bet you can count on one hand how many 5 year employees there are here. In most cases you need a minimum of 12 years to be working at all.

They may have to go down to the local home depot and hire some illegal aliens to drive our junk equipment, they are used to driving junk and working with no future or retirement!

They're buying 1000 new yard horses so we can work the yard at our destination....500 mile in the horse, then work the yard for an hour before you go to get bed-bugs! In all seriousness though, this news did give me renewed hope......we'll see how long it is before Billy and the Teamsters squelch that out with a fresh ballot in the mail!
