Yellow | Any word on new tractors at your barn?

Here is one of New Penn's "new" tractors. Great combo of colors?

(Click on picture to enlarge, reposted with permission from owner of picture)

Now there's a TRUELY diverse unit. Roadway hood & cab, Yellow wind defector, and a New Penn trailer! Now that's unity.

C800 are easy to get passed, there isn't that much there to inspect no power steering, no A/C, no air ride air horns air seats but they do have dual wiper motors.................................:hide:

so that means all the city guys will take new white ones, while road drivers will get the sterlings

Don't worry once all the bumpers are bent, the hoods and air shields cracked and the cab filled with trash you can have them back since they will be below their standards to drive in the city........................

It may have already been posted here but I read at 653 (Charlotte) that new Freightliners are set to come on line in June. I'll post some pictures when I see one. DS

So, your saying they are going bankrupt???? Mind you, that on the last quarter conference call they said that," We have been offered leases on new equipment from a few companies.

(you wrote.... )

(When a Corp leases their "Rolling Stock" and has no investment in it, should they declare Bankruptcy, the Leasing Co pulls the equipment back, strips off the decals and re-leases it, or sells it and moves on.)

(This, Ladies and Gentlemen is a sign of what is about to occur.)

So, they are leasing this new equipment; knowing that they are going bankrupt... is that what your saying?? Help me out here...
So, I ask again.. are you saying that YRC is about to go bankrupt???

P.S. Leasing new equipment is an investment in your business, and your EMPLOYEES!!! PERIOD!!

The true hatred for this company from some of it's employees never ceases to amaze me!
I dont think its called hate for the company, seems to me he worked with Preston when Welch was with Yellow, dont see Preston any longer,, maybe hes just informing people of the the things he seen before Preston went bye bye. He might be correct that a bk might be easier for the company if it has no ownership on anything it uses.

Some people you just cant reach bfalls,, some of these guys refuse to take the rose colored glasses off so they can see whats going on around them, Im not saying this company is going bk, but,, with the past being the past in the unionized ltl industry, it sure doesnt look promising, and no Im not even thinking about that glass of warm kool-aid.. I know, I should just be happy I have a job so I can afford my 100,000 mortgage..
