rumor is that several midwest terminals will be consolidating operations in a former brandt truck line terminal, anyone else hear this?
 
Have heard about meeting tomorrow with manager's in Chicago in regard to consolidating LaSalle, Peoria, Riverton and Champagne. No change of operation yet but have heard this.
 
There was a meeting of managers in Philadelphia today. Vincentown, Philly, Chester, Norristown.
Something is going on...no one looked happy after the meeting broke up.

same as i heard, except one more, not sure which one... or if that was accurate. but yes, for sure, those four you listed...
 
Cleared out an old (ancient) storage trailer last week, claimed it had been sold. Sold to who? A Cambodian looking to turn it into a house? I'm not buying that one.

Last year we sold 3 of them.... The old pup had a aluminum floor.....
 
Is that in Bloomington, Il? I imagine they would move the HVXP from Moline to Bloomington if that happens.

Ours had wooden floor, well, what was left of a wooden floor. Just walking on it was iffy. Maybe they are collecting wasps for bee sting serum?
 
The old Brandt terminal in Illinois is it in Bloomington?, in regards to conslidating LaSalle, Peoria, Riverton and Champaign,
 
Well that would be nothing new (consolidation) They have been doing it for a while just not recently.There are also terms. without mgmt on premises. Managed by other terms
 
Our region managers all met in Dayton today. I'm in Western Penna. I'll be trying to pry information out of our TM all day tomorrow. We were told it was to explain new provisions of the contract. ....The one we haven't voted on yet.....I'm presuming they are presuming......

La Salle sending 4 to Rockford, 2 to Bloomington, 1 to Aurora. Riverton sending 4 to Bloomington, 1 to Effingham, 1 to Quincy. Champaign sending 5 to Bloomington, 1 to Effingham. Peoria sending 6 to Bloomington is the proposal.

What will they do with the work? We know that there will be a dovetail of employees, but are we sure they have the ability to "tighten up" the system any more than what it already is?
 
ok some one said vin phi norrisrown,,,i know philly and vin,, does no have the room to hold them toghether so who would be closed and re diss..go figure just likee the crap i went through with cry i ment yrc ...

We have way to many terminals to our bill count. Forget what article I read but we way out of line with other carriers concerning bills per terminal.OD and Estes were like 30 to 40 terminals less with same revenue.

I could see that but I'm sure Chester would be involved also. They have a pretty good size terminal between them and Vincentown they could absorb the two terminals.
