That's what is wrong with America, NO PRIDE. Too many people just accept what those in authority say as gospel, when it simply isn't true. I am a second generation teamster, and I will not give up what those that came before me fought so hard to secure. This TA is garbage with the language used, and I will be voting no. If it means I have to look for another job, then so be it. The only man I have top answer to is the one I see I the mirror each morning.
You are the one who needs to wake up and smell the coffee . There are things I don't like and things I can tolerate about this offer. What I will not vote yes for is the elimination of my job.
Giving panther 6% of our freight plus the railed freight is crazy. Plus there is no way to check what % of the freight panther gets and no teeth in the contract where I collect a check if I sit all week while panther hauls my freight.
Any road driver who votes yes for this is voting yes for unemployment !!!

I will prob vote yes and I no I'm a company man sellout manager suck ass ect ect ect don't tell me to vote but if it passes will all u guys who don't want to give a inch quit and find a better paying job with better insurance pension and pay put ur money where ur mouth is ?

Good thing there weren't more guys like you when the NMFA was being crafted. There wouldn't be any contract then.

This contract proposal is by far the worst one I have ever seen, and I will be voting no just as soon as I can.
There is way to many bad supplements for me to just mention one. I suggest the IBT go back in and work on something that will be acceptable to both sides.
You can vote anyway you like, if you have that option. But again there is no way this contract should pass.There is way to many bad supplements that is going to end up hurting or destroying jobs.
Nobody has to quit and find another job as you wish, all we are asking for is a fair contract, and if that bothers you I don't know what to tell you. I guess you can quit and find another job if you don't like what is going on...
If we vote it down, will you quit and go to work for yrc since you are ok with consessions, and let a teamster with a backbone have his job back?

Thats funny, All we are asking for is a fair contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. OTHER THEN THE PENSION, I THINK THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE A BETTER CONTRACT THEN US, IF THIS PASSES.....

Thank you. I am right there with you. The TA is an insult to all workers who struggle to make ends meet, while our leaders increase their compensation at the cost of our families. No is no. I never would have had a problem giving up some of my compensation if we had a level playing field. Judy & gang made sure of not only a uneven playing field but slanted so far in favor of themselves ,the little guy down in the trenches never has a chance. Countries have been overthrown for the exact type of behavior that our leadership is trying to get us to accept. Some might say yes to this garbage, but not this one. von
Pride has nothing to do with my NO vote !!! It has to do with right & wrong & I was raised & taught my kids to never back down from doing the right thing. The working man & the middle class have been turning the other cheek while our quality of life disappears. I work hard for my family & hard for my company & hard for my union & I will not be turned into a sheep. I do my job I do it well and expect to be treated with respect. this is union busting, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer & "just be thankful you have a job" ABF doesn't give me charity I earn what I have & I'm not just giving it back because "they say I should" enough is enough !!!" I know this is an emotional time for all of you at ABF. I've been there. I was a STRONG yes vote at YRC when they asked for money. I would vote no.
