I was just talking with a friend that works at FedEx, His manager said there anticipating a no vote and are going to blow us out of the water after that. I'm sure all the competitors are wanting that. This SH@#T is making me sick!!!!:

This must be your first time voting on a contract. That is if You are actually a teamster.

We are very busy at Holland, we can barely handle the work we have, I am pretty sure you don't have to worry about us stealing any customers! My friends at FedEx say they have not heard any such talk, it must just be a certain manager at a certain terminal or something? Good Luck Guys!

I have been a teamster since 1991. I have been through many of contract's . It has never been this ****ty, even when we went out on strike in 94. We had some strength back then. I can't say that for today.I'm sure the manager was talking out of his but, we never know what is really the truth out there. All I can say is if one manager is talking like that there could be something behind it.

The **** companies ALWAYS pull that at contract time. FredEx is notorious for it. They can't sell their service or high claims.

I heard that back when the YRC future was dismal.

We are still here. We are getting our freight back.

Vote by what you feel is right. Leave the results to those that count votes. Once you make that decision, you will sleep at night and your stomach will no longer hurt.

When March 31st was closing in Estes driver told me the same thing & it was BS as it is now. If the vote is NO we aren't going to stop working we'll extend as they go back to the table...We haven't had a strike vote & they aren't locking us out

That should make him feel better than a good dose of alka-seltzer.

YRC will be waiting also to get back some of the freight ABF swiped back then. You know like welcome back folks:coffee1:

Actually the ballot specifically states that a no vote authorizes a strike with no further votes needed. So a no vote is a strike authorization...
