Yellow | new trailers good maybe we can get ride of the unsafe roadway junk

roadway pups are so rusted and junk i am scared to pull them , shut off valves are hidin on some . some dont hardly have handles etc

one good bump hell there goes the axles or springs etc makes you wonder some of the road drivers that died where they pulling them. and it caused the accident

............attention managment ...............................on notice fmsca, state dot will be getting letters on these trailers and will go into every scale house to be inspected for beieng unsafe i dont trust them

A rusted out trailer is past it's useful life. That's not the trailers fault, it's Welch's fault.

Help is on the way. ABF has the newest & best maintained LTL fleet in the country. Will YRC paint over the green or just install door decals? Maybe a green/yellow combination? This is under the assumption that YRC goes ahead with the buyout plan.

No one will take this seriously until someone gets hurt and they are sued. Tell your families if something happens to be on the alert and have a lawyer as quick as possible. Get that darn truck and trailors impounded for inspection. You know it is coming. Good Luck to all you drivers.

Just in at 309. https://www.dropbox.com/s/58pp2r5zquc4kdp/2013-06-26 17.04.46.jpg

I hope this works!

We got cases of it like it's on automatic order, but nobody uses it, it's all new on the roll in the box,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That and how many other former "standard" practices have gone by the wayside?

Nothing like a nice set of soggy transfer bills that smell of stale popcorn and rusty roofs.

My sincere apologies. I did originally post a Yellow vs Roadway comment, but have decided to edit my thought process.
That being said..........Screw ALL management and their ability to separate and divide us TEAMSTERS!
The current COO 6 weeks ago has subjected MY barn to an institution of hatred and discontent!
We fight amongst ourselves and the TM is laughing behind our backs.
Ha. Ha. Ha. We need to stand tall, solidarity, as 1 group and wake-up before it is too late!
Shhh! We pray chemotherapy will do the devils bidding and relinquish his control over our hard working employees.

Vertical tracks? Without, at least ONE horizontal track?
Don't these Idiots, EVER?, consult with the professionals who load them?
No wonder we pay out MILLIONS in claims each year!

As stupid as it sounds Vertical tracks are part of the posts and don't cost extra, horizontal track are add on's that cost extra.

First thing I see is the marker light placement, they never lasted very long in that placement in the past why should they now?

All the new trailers have to be reworked. They blue line glad hand is to close to the storage slot that you can not hook a dolly line to it. Anybody at 309 can see this. The trailers are in puppy land, thats south of the south dock.

Roadway junk?
I broke 3 sets tonight, all Yellow crap. 3 of the 6 trailers brakes wouldn't release. It's 85 here, not 20 below. 309 needs to fix crap instead of loading freight into them and sending them out in a rain storm

Ah. My first day back to work, and see the "love" is still here. Just came back from 4 days at the beach. Ran into a legacy Yellow driver there, and the biggest disagreement we had was which color bikini's looked best, pink, or black, and what we were going to drink next. Rum and cokes,Zombies, Tequila Sunrise's............kind of lost track after that.

First mistake R. Should have gone straight to the Long Island Ice Tea, no way to go wrong with than concoction.

When you see DEF tanks being installed at all terminals then we will soon see new trucks, until then just look for making what we got last for another million miles or so,,,

What about Propane tanks to fill the new equipment with? I here the Freightliners we are getting are going to run on propane,
