What's good for the goose, is good for the gander. If you don't like us complaining about our choice of employment, QUIT coming on here. Simple enough, right? And I tear into upper management every time the empty suits have the intestinal fortitude to step into a preshift with us.

I love being at home with my kids at night. I was on line haul for a long time. I just got tired of hearing people crying and saying I was leaving too early at the HUB. So HELL NO, NO THANK YOU, I don't want your line haul run. I heard enough of the whine bags crying

Man o man i didnt realize when i clicked on the fed ex freight page, that it turned into the "chest pounding page" or the " mine is bigger then urs" page. Get over yourselves, or do all you super truckers think ur gods gift to hold a steering wheel lol
 
I can agree with the sentiments about fair weather truckers that don't have the stones to drive in the snow. Two winters in a row doing this job, any time the snow started lying on the road a bunch of "experienced" drivers took to the truck stops and rest areas while I kept the wheels rolling. I had a guy in a Pete 379 try to give me the gears over the squawk box because I passed him. It was his choice to do 20mph, it was my choice to do 40. When he he said "got ditch?" I responded that I wasn't familiar with the ditch. Never spent any time there!

And to the whiner complaining about all the whining and complaining, you must be new here. Or new to trucking. Have another glass of the purple Kool Aid and everything will be just fine. Truckers complain. It's what we do. If a guy isn't complaining, you ought to question how happy he is.

Why would we want to quit when we can stay here and bother people like you that wasn't here when this was a good company to work for. Plus we don't have to worry about you because you most likely will be in the next bunch they push out the door. Keep up the good work, and continue bleeding purple.
 
I must concur with fedupdal....weatherman calls for an inch of snow but truckdriver calls for a foot......crying and holding a steering wheel is what we do.

If you think for 1 instant that " Upper Mangement " gives one flyin crap what you think. You should quit. Because you my friend are going to have one major let down. They could care less if you are here or not.:6817:
