I took a drug test and physical for Estes Friday. They said when the results came back they would call to set me up for orientation. Does anyone know how long orientation is and what all is covered?I'm being hired for linehaul extra board. I have 14 years experience 9 of those in ltl pulling doubles. Will I be training with someone and if so how long?

They will probably just have you fill out 20 min with of paperwork and ride with a schedule driver for a couple days. Maybe just one day just so they know you can drive and understand the paperwork, which ain't much. Not much hand holding. . Congrats.
 
Thanks for the info Mildew. I'm looking forward to getting started. I've been reading the Estes threads for a while now. Most of you guys seem to be happy with Estes. I hope it is as good as I think it is.
 
Saw a good lookin lady at a truckstop pulling a set North of Dallas. Might have to try and get on with Estes again
 
At my barn orientation lasts all day. Videos and paperwork. Training lasts 5 days, and you ride with a schedule driver. You get paid for all miles in the truck but not for breaking and hooking.
