Uprising at 640/SCA? The company is running freight around 640, The men at the Break are pissed off about something. 640/SCA TB members please fill us in with the details, I heard it was an problem with the bid, but I know there is more to it than that.

that's cal and texas . right ,both voted heavily for both MOU and HOFFA and now they are having trouble .damn maybe the company and the ibt will remember and settle things in their favor.

Ya think the company wanted the MOU to fail the first time and they are going to make sure it fails this time ?

Ya know in bankrupty the Judge puts the Union and pension liabilities in the trash can!

Wasn't loading more directs part of the latest COO, meant to reduce freight handling and possible damage? Sounds to me like that's a good thing.

This is stuff is crazy, They must be trying to run us all in the ground. God help us all. Makes it real hard to go to work with this crap going on everyday.

Without having access to O/B trailer manifests it's all speculation. However you're correct, re-engineering flow; i.e. more direct loading, was the primary reason for the COO. Also 621 is no longer a D/C. Perhaps 621 is now loading southern cal LTL to 326?

Running freight around 640 to EOL's in the LA basin is causing layoffs at SCA/640. Brothers in the LA basin, please do your part, pro numbers trailer numbers, any info you can collect. Turn this information in ro your stewards so we can put a stop to this. This effects us all..

I will send you all of the info you need, but if my EOL is breaking due freight off of mixed loads, there is not a lot of recourse.
I will support you with what you request, but, just sayin'...
I will make sure that we send out of area freight directly back to you to break for other EOL's.

Hate to bring up the word bill count, but I did see the count from last Weds. It was around 45,000. Around what it has been for the last 2 years. With the coo's + fewer breakbulks+ fewer eol, = less handling= more directs because most eol's are covering 70 plus miles area's= actually more freight to eol terminal than before because of increased coverage area= no eol breakbulk terminal or handling needed. Just my opinion.

I can appreciate your position and support you. Having said that, 326 in several change of operations have brought in men from So Cal and load directs to all points in So Cal. I don't see a lot of help from 326. Sorry.
