I applied at the Harrisburg, PA location. I think it is a hub operation

Looking for any info on pay, benefits, working conditions, managers, supervisors, etc... anything would be much appreciated..

I run to north harrisburg NHS everynight which is the hub. Harrisburg HSG is a mile down the street that is a inbound only center. NHS pay scale is about 60 cents per mile. They have about 100 road drivers. There runs are decent. I know the bottom 10 road drivers do nothing but run rail boxes 7 miles to the railyard all day back and forth none stop. Im from pocono summit and i know they have some of the same meet points as us in ohio 600+ miles. And they also have some of the coolest supervisors iv ever met at any center. Only bad thing is the center is next to a huge chicken coop and all you smell is poo when ur there.

Have have the dock guys look a little closer at the comat shipments coming in on the rail trailers from NHS. Maybe some of those shipments are concealing new chicken poo red shirts. Might be a good time to take an exception for fork lift damage.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the information.

Does NHS run a 24/7 hub?

Yes darkon at the last change of ops they became a dual hub before that it was just a economy hub. But im pretty sure its 24/7

Make sure you are applying to north union st and not 300 fulling mill road. you'll wish you died if you end up at HSG. I transferred to NHS my senority date is 7/14 and i'm still running for hsg about starving to death and he wont let me go almost 2 months later

Ditto! I talk to the HSG guys that are still there and ones that have already transferred over to NHS. Yikes...make sure you're applying to the right one.

I am up there quite a bit doing double turns. Things are a lot better now than they were. The first couple weeks was a mess after the change. But he is right, bottom extras run a ton of rails. I think I'd still rather do that than the vbe lay over. But then again I still value seeing my family lol.
