ODFL | New Service Centers ???

I'm not sure if or when, but I did hear from a Chico, CA Line-Hauler that moving Chico to Orland may be in the works. Im not sure if this is 100% but a Chico relocation is definately due. Right now it sees a lot of traffic from all the fright moving from Medford, OR south and all the freight from CA headed up. Personally, Im excited about this, I love Chico and would like to see them get hooked up with a sweet yard.

I heard OD is building a big hub in the Wilkes Barre , PA area. Been hearing it on my pedal run from a couple guys from other companys.

on the OD website when you click tools and then service center you have the ability to search for a terminal by zip code, state or by terminal alpha code e.g. ATL is Atlanta. there is a new code in the list ALK when selected and searched goes to a page with no terminal listed.anyone have a turn and meet point with that code or anyone want to guess where this terminal my be soon to be. only guess i can come up with is maybe OD will have an office in Alaska like Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

It appears like we have an office in Hawaii, but when you Google street view its a freight forwarder. Imagine Alaska would be the same.

How is the SC for Madison, Wisconsin working out for OD? I wonder if any of my former co-workers from Dayton Freight signed on with you guy's in Madison after Dayton closed the Madison yard.

Facility in Memphis is new construction on State Line Rd according to a driver I ran into out of MFS. Also Albuquerque is in the process of building new facility. Saw the pictures of construction progress when I was in ABQ a couple weeks ago.

Its on Airways. Still in Memphis but inches away from the Mississippi state line. I was told there will only be right hand turns in and out of there. If you are inbound. Come off Shelby Dr and turn south on Airways, thru light at Holmes road to yard on right. When leaving, right out of gate to first red light which is Stateline rd and make right to I-55. Unless you need 78 then stay south on airways to Goodman rd and make left.:shift:

If you google the Alaska address you will get a view of the SEA terminal ( not hard to figure that out, I know ). long drive for a salesman LOL. The Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Canada offices/managers make more sense than the Alaska listing. If i am not mistaken all most all Alaska freight is delivered by Lynden Transport for almost all lower 48 common carriers.

They are posting some good numbers. I didn't realize there was that much freight in that area. Couldn't tell you about the Dayton drivers.
