It's official he's no longer President. He will play an advisory role for Central Transport and Vitran Express. I saw the email from Dean Kuska and it is for real. It will be posted shortly. He does still work here but I'm sure it will be only for a short time. Remember my thread on Karma about Keylon....Yep, what goes around comes around.

Sorry Stunman, I didn't notice you already started a thread on Keylons demise. I should have known you would scoop the Train.

No problem Train, I got the call about 14 hours ago, took a couple hours to confirm before I would post it. Trust me, Keylon does not work here, no advisory role what so ever. More heads to roll before the week is done.

kosovec resigned and was going to be a consultant, gaetz resigned and now keylon is playing an advisory role. what colorful titles they come up with.

Effective today, Chris Keylon will transition to a new advisory role working closely with the management teams of both Vitran and Central Transport. Chris’s leadership and experience will be beneficial as we develop and expand our US LTL operations.

*

We will have much more information to share through various communication forums in the days and weeks ahead. In the meantime, our customers should continue to view this transition as seamless and to enjoy the best service we can deliver!

Advisory role eh? That is comedic for sure. Just as Stun and Had Enough said, this is exactly the same thing they said about Kosovec as he was given his walking papers. This is all about trying to not upset the shipping public and keep the bucks on the trucks. Nothing more , nothing less. Now CT needs to get busy and cut more of the cancer from this sick victim so it can begin to heal and get healthy again under new ownership.

wow... everyone at the PIT offices then? guess it will just be another hub for trucks... or will they rely on a central terminal for that too?? truly a shame i liked lots of the people there

keylon is such a joke... what did anyone ever see in this guy and the goons he brought along with him... makes you wonder if PIT would have been better off without him since he based everything out of there

Advisory roll??? What will probably happen is that they will pick his brain for a short time and then he basically will have nothing to do. When he came on over here, all the FDX people were on here singing his praises. I'm not sticking up for the guy, but he walked into a real mess. Worse than he realized at the time. To many changes were attempted in to short of a time frame. Some worked out, most did not. It seems that alot of the changes were resisted from the bottom to the top. If it costs me money, I ain't doing it seems to be the mentality of quite a few people. But then again, I'm guilty also. Status quo, don't rock the boat. That ain't how we did it at (Vitran,PJAX, Milan,Quast).
CK might stick around for awhile, but he will soon "explore other opportunities", albeit with one MAJOR blemish on his resume. CT might let him hang around for awhile, just long enough to get out of paying his golden parashoot. But he'll get bored and move on on his own someday.
Like I said many months ago,"Chasing Greatness" is something my dog does with his tail. He will save some pride and move on one day. He tried. Just wasn't in the cards.
