CTII bought a company that was in Debt and that Debt came from the from you guys because your the ones that were supposed to move the freight so the Company makes a profit. You guy can blame anyone you want but the bottom line is that Drivers are the ones that make the company $ and you guys weren't doing it. And yes we don't have the best equipment , we don't get OT till after 55 , Insurance is not the greatest , But guess what Dudes it works and we have a check every Friday. Learn to appreciate that some of you guys are still employed by CT. And Trust us this is just for those Fools that are writing BS about our Company (CT is watching all your post and your going to be the first ones out . And if you think your going to collect unemployment...... (REALITY CHECK)...... Dude's , Ct is just going to deny it saying that they offer you a job after the purchase of Vitran and you didn't take it. Live and Learn Dudes all LTL company's pay drivers to do P&D and you guys fail to do so. so take it for what is worth and Join or Move on with your lives. The one's that are Joining Welcome and the one that are not Best of Luck.

the major question is why would anyone buy a failing company,and take on so much debt. only reason would be there is financial gain to be made from the freight

are the drivers at yellow / roadway responsible for their demise. Most if not all in the industry know that upper management f$$cked that company up...... I'll tell you what most of us think happened here at Vitran. The company didt have a plan in place to integrate / merge vitran and pjax properly. Example = streamlining linehaul, "consolidating " corporate employees and offices, updating the fleet and computer software. If Vitran would have spent the money on doing that before buying Millan, they probably would have made it.

SO YOUR WRONG ON BLAMING US, THE CITY DRIVERS FOR MESSING UP THE COMPANY.

last time I looked before the sale of vitran,they still had 20 million in the bank. what debt? lol

What does CTII stand for?
 
So once again the only positive thing i'm hearing is "i have a job an get a check". Not to be disrespectful Jackknife 18, but wouldn't you like to be shown a little more respect from your employer for your hard work, as far as blaming us for the down fall of this company you have no idea what your talking about,the changes that upper management made to this company is what caused the downfall. Maybe your happy working for a company that is not willing to appericiate your hard work, an "getting a check every friday" is all you expect from your employer.
