i put a paper app in on a monday i got a interveiw on friday i got my mvr for them after the interveiw and signed paper work for a back ground check i know i have a good mvr and back ground its been over a week and no phone call sould i wait longer
 
Call the terminal manager and check in. TM could have been on vacation or something. It won't hurt to check in.

Go knock on the TM's door and shake his hand...Let him know who you are....Paper apps don't get you a job,you do..Tell him,"In need a job.I would be a great asset to your company"...Good luck.
 
i did meet the tm and had a interveiw i gave him my mvr and signed paper work for a background check waited 5 days and called he said he would call next week next week is almost over i was wondering if this is normal for processing i would like to get a job there thanks for any advice
 
Yep, it's normal. Call him back and ask him if it's ok to put your notice in at your current job. They are expecting things to take off soon. It's still kinda slow. I pretty much hired myself when I got this job. After he okays you to put in your notice, find out when you can take your drug test and physical
 
You're probably as good as in, but the hiring process here seems to get bogged down at times. Freight does appear to have slowed down a little bit in the last 2 weeks. They're real short of Utility and P+D at some yards so if either one of those is your goal then it shouldn't take much longer. You'll be admiring those red wheels too before you know it.
 
i hope so tm said utility and thats good p+d is good to i worked for yellow from 1999 to 2006 i have the experience so im hoping for the best a job at estes thanks buzzbeez
