Amazing ending. I would have fallen off.

Amazing ending? I missed it. Now, if someone was ramming the Volvo while shooting a machine gun at him and he stayed on, I'd be impressed.

I saw this video on another forum, where the membership has only one truck driver (can you guess which one?). I commented that I felt it was impossible to back the two trucks 300 feet at the speed they appear to be going, as straight as they did, and then move them apart from one another to force Van Damme to do the splits like that.

They all disagree with me, and believe the video was shot as presented, with the trucks actually moving in reverse.

I don't think it is possible to move two trucks, with trailers, backwards, 300 feet, with the precision shown in the video. I think they shot the stunt with the trucks moving forward, then ran it backwards to make it look like the trucks were going in reverse.

Or...borrowed the weather guys green screen.

Come on that was an ad to sell trucks.
Was it documented to be real,or just a computer animation?

With all of the stuff that can be done with our modern day computers it is very difficult to weed out the real from the fake.

This was faked by college students. Hollywood and advertisers have much better equipment and software available. The truck video has way less "action" that has to be edited, so IMO....the truck video is fake also.

I still wonder how they kept the trailer from straying, and running true behind the tractor.

(One thing I must add, after watching the video a half dozen times, I just realize that one of the trucks is a straight truck, not a tractor-trailer. That would make the stunt slightly easier to perform.)

well, I AM REAL.....but sometimes....

I FAKE IT...!!!

oh great...so according to the article, it was indeed shot with the trucks driving in reverse...

now...will the DOT require us to drive in reverse now, knowing it can be done, if everyone is ordered to buy these trucks..??

what will happen to all the trucks we have on our roads now..??

ship them to Mexico, Guatemala, the Philippines..???

some truckers still cannot drive going forwards....now we're gonna have 'em drive backwards..???

since so many inept drivers cannot negotiate the fuel islands, or parking spaces, or loading docks, does this improve thier job skills now, or worsen them.>??

and finally...Jean-Claude, did not seem to "age well", and at only.....53...!!

here i am at the age of 465647564783037017567831...and I LOOK MARVELOUS.....
